Family & Youth Ministry

VBS 2020:  Let's G.L.O.W!

We have re-imagined our VBS for this year, and are turning into an event that your child will be able to participate in from home, even with your family if you'd like! We are collaborating with Park Royal United Church to offer a free online VBS, which will happen once a week on four Mondays in August, beginning on August 10th. We will meet online for an EARLY EVENING video call through Zoom, and there may also be prerecorded clips shared throughout.

The Zoom call will include games, music, stories, crafts, prayers. You will also get a kit for home which will include any supplies needed for your child to do the crafts/activities as they wish. We only ask that you register by August 1st using this link:

Youth Group (Grades 7-12)
We currently offer a youth group for anyone in grades 7 through 12 on alternating Sunday evenings. All youth are welcome, regardless of whether they attend this, or any church. We provide a safe and welcoming environment for all young people, regardless of beliefs, culture, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, etc. Our building is fully accessible, with a ramp, private washroom, and elevator.

We spend our time learning about ourselves and our community, and exploring our personal faith through a variety of activities. Our themes and activities are youth-led, meaning that we plan based on the interests and needs of the youth who come. We gather together for games, discussions, activities, community outings, sleepovers, movies, holiday activities, outreach and service projects.

Bring yourself, bring a friend, and let's have some fun while exploring our faith! Check our weekly Network for upcoming gathering dates and times!

Kids Club (grades 3-6)

Sunday School

Sunday School is thriving in our congregation:
  • We have more than 30 children who add their liveliness, curiosity and wisdom to our community,
  • Approximately 18 teachers and helpers who take turns giving leadership to these young people,
  • We teach from the Whole People of God lectionary-based curriculum which is full of resources, background information about Biblical passages, ideas for teaching, crafts and activities.
  • We plan extra activities for special times in each season of the church year.
