A Place at the Table 

At West River United Church, we believe everyone deserves a place at the table, not just in theory, but in practice.

The General Council Office of the United Church selected Rev. Franklyn James as one of the 12 disciples to represent our faith community; one committed to welcoming people of all backgrounds, identities and experiences. This reimagination of Da Vinci's Last Supper was commissioned to mark the centennial of the United Church of Canada. 

We are pleased to be selected as one of 100 communities of faith across Canada to 

A Place at the Table is a bold call to build communities where no one is left out, overlooked, or forgotten. Whether through worship, shared meals, pastoral care, or justice-seeking, we are committed to creating space that is inclusive, healing, and rooted in love.
